On n&#8217;a pas pu la faire en 2019 car il faut acheter un permis (12 $ par personne), 150 permis sont d\u00e9livr\u00e9s par jour. Et en 2019, c&#8217;\u00e9tait sold out. Tout comme aujourd&#8217;hui! La rando n&#8217;est pas longue en r\u00e9alit\u00e9 (7 km aller-retour environ), mais une bonne partie se fait les pieds dans l&#8217;eau, ce qui est tr\u00e8s agr\u00e9able et rafraichissant par une chaude journ\u00e9e d&#8217;\u00e9t\u00e9, mais aujourd&#8217;hui, m\u00eame s&#8217;il fait chaud, l&#8217;eau est \u00e0 4\u00b0C et le niveau d&#8217;eau assez haut&#8230; Qu&#8217;\u00e0 cela ne tienne, il nous en faut plus pour nous d\u00e9courager. Ce lieu a une signification pour moi. Pendant le premier confinement, apr\u00e8s avoir boss\u00e9 d&#8217;arrache-pied pendant de nombreuses semaines, j&#8217;avais fait un puzzle pour me relaxer. Cela faisait alors moins d&#8217;un an que nous avions quitt\u00e9 les USA. Je travaillais au Portugal et Nathalie en France quand le confinement de mars 2020 est arriv\u00e9. Pendant cette p\u00e9riode particuli\u00e8re, nous avons r\u00e9alis\u00e9 que les USA nous manquaient d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9norm\u00e9ment, les grands espaces notamment (tout comme nos amis de San Diego). Mais nous n&#8217;envisagions pas pour autant de repartir y vivre. C&#8217;est \u00e0 ce moment-l\u00e0 qu&#8217;on a muri ce projet de partir 6 mois et qu&#8217;on a m\u00eame commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 le pr\u00e9parer. 2 ans plus tard exactement, nous faisons cette rando. C&#8217;est assez magique du coup.
