C&#8217;est la plus grande \u00eele de la c\u00f4te Pacifique de l&#8217;Am\u00e9rique. Sa surface est l\u00e9g\u00e8rement sup\u00e9rieure \u00e0 celle de la Belgique. C&#8217;est une tr\u00e8s belle travers\u00e9e. Et surprise, nous allons comprendre rapidement que Victoria est la capitale de la Colombie Britannique (et pas Vancouver!)? Les Britanniques s&#8217;y sont \u00e9tablis en 1843. Il y a une activit\u00e9 permanente dans la baie, l&#8217;<strong>Inner<\/strong> <strong>Harbour<\/strong>, humaine et faunique. construite en 1858 pour accueillir l&#8217;\u00e9cole de 4 religieuses qu\u00e9b\u00e9coises envoy\u00e9es ici pour faire classe aux enfants francophones des employ\u00e9s de la Compagnie de la Baie d&#8217;Hudson ainsi qu&#8217;aux autochtones.
