La visite guid\u00e9e dure 90 minutes et il est n\u00e9cessaire de la r\u00e9server en avance car les places sont limit\u00e9es. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bill Keys est arriv\u00e9 dans ce d\u00e9sert vers 1910, a rachet\u00e9 le ranch et les mines associ\u00e9es en 1917. Avec sa femme, puis ses enfants, il a d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 ce ranch de mani\u00e8re incroyable et astucieuse. Ils ont cr\u00e9\u00e9 un puits, un barrage dans un canyon pour la retenue d&#8217;eau, un jardin, fait de l&#8217;\u00e9l\u00e9vage de poules et de lapins, cr\u00e9\u00e9 des outils pour l&#8217;extraction et de minerais, et m\u00eame le premier AirBnb du coin (maison d&#8217;h\u00f4tes). Il est maintenant propri\u00e9t\u00e9 du parc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Puis, nous avons repris la route en direction de Mojave, notre point de chute pour ce soir. Nous passons notamment par Amboy, sur la route 66.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce motel \/ caf\u00e9 \/ station essence a \u00e9t\u00e9 ouvert \u00e0 partir de 1938 par Roy, pour accueillir les passagers de la route 66. Avec l&#8217;ouverture de l&#8217;autoroute 40 non loin \u00e0 partir de 1973, les passagers ont \u00e9t\u00e9 de plus en plus rares, la ville a d\u00e9clin\u00e9. Il y aurait 4 habitants aujourd&#8217;hui. L&#8217;esprit &#8220;Route 66&#8221; est conserv\u00e9 pour nous les touristes, seule la station essence est encore op\u00e9rationnelle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images
