Nous sommes \u00e0 Ellis Island Hotel, parfaitement situ\u00e9 et \u00e0 un prix tr\u00e8s raisonnable. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce soir, nous nous contenterons du strip de Las Vegas. Le contraste avec notre d\u00e9but de journ\u00e9e est saisissant&#8230; Pour le clin d&#8217;oeil, Las Vegas signifie &#8220;les pr\u00e9s&#8221; ou &#8220;les prairies&#8221;. Ce sont juste des zones humides nomm\u00e9es ainsi lors du passage d&#8217;une caravane commerciale en 1829 &#8230; dans le d\u00e9sert du Mojave. Le village de Las Vegas n&#8217;est officiellement fond\u00e9 qu&#8217;en 1905. Dans les ann\u00e9es 30, la construction du barrage Hoover sur le Colorado et la l\u00e9galisation des jeux d&#8217;argent attirent les &#8220;investisseurs&#8221; (la mafia). On y est un soir de semaine, et il y a plein de monde partout (sauf dans l&#8217;h\u00f4tel Paris, bizarrement).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L&#8217;h\u00f4tel le plus impressionnant selon nous est le Venetian, construit entre 1999 et 2007, il compte plus de 7000 chambres et suites, ce qui en fait alors l&#8217;h\u00f4tel le plus grand du monde. D&#8217;ailleurs, on a encore r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 s&#8217;y perdre. l&#8217;h\u00f4tel&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nous avons eu la chance par le pass\u00e9 de voir 2 spectacles du Cirque du Soleil ici : &#8220;Love&#8221; et &#8220;\u00d4&#8221;. Ce sont des shows incroyables.
